Pembe Clothing

Ericka Bridges is an Entrepreneur who owns a web based women’s clothing and accessory store, Pembe Clothing.  Pembe Clothing is patronized mostly by women ages 30 and up.  In order to be successful as an Entrepreneur Ericka knew continuing education was needed.  In May 2010, Ericka Bridges completed a four month course that focused on entrepreneurship and business plan writing.  At the completion of this course she received her Entrepreneur Certification from the Small Business Development Center which partners with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.  Ericka Bridges is enrolled in the accelerated program at the Lutheran and faith based, Concordia University, working towards a bachelor’s degree in business management.  Ericka was recently nominated by her community for an Opulence Award.  The Purpose of the Pinnacle Motivations Small Business Opulence Awards is to shine the light on Entrepreneurs who strive to revive our economy and communities.  Ericka is doing her part to revive our economy and community by developing and running workshops for youth ages 6 to 17 that focus on entrepreneurship, business, and fashion.  She is also doing events under her partnership, Two Charmed Divas, which gives small business owners a platform to gain exposure for their products and/or services.  Ericka works hard to network with others and provide useful information that can help others succeed in business through business networking groups she has created, Small businesses in Milwaukee and Surrounding Areas and Milwaukee Women Entrepreneurs.  She attends networking events regularly to connect with other like-minded individuals and her customers on a personal level.  She also volunteers her time to help with various creative projects in the community.  Ericka Bridges takes pride in being a genuine person who cares about helping others in all aspects.  She strives to learn all that she can in order to continue to be successful and help others do the same.
